Lindsay Bridal Prep – Casa Marina Hotel

I was thrilled when one of my best friends asked me to do her bridal prep photos the day before her wedding! Having two sisters myself, it was really fun to spend the day with these three girls and watch them interact on such a special day. I normally don’t accompany the bridal party to the hair/makeup portion of prep, but I am a sucker for doing anything and everything for people I care about; plus my dad had given me a dozen donuts that had to be delivered to the bride ASAP, so I tagged along:)

Needless to say the morning flew by and before we knew it, we were in out last moments before needing to load in the limo and head to the beach ceremony. Lindsay got ready at the GORGEOUS Casa Marina Hotel in Jacksonville, Fl giving us a wonderful location for portraits.

I am so glad I went along for the limo ride because I captured a perfect candid moment of this beautiful bride, one that I would never be able to stage. We were getting close to the ceremony location and all was calm until Linds realized she had forgotten the groom’s ring! After abruptly turning around, I volunteered to run three blocks in the hot Florida sun back to the hotel and retrieve the ring – like I said, I go to great lengths for my friends and clients:)Once all was back in order I was thrilled when I realized I had captured the whole thing in camera.

I hope you enjoy these beautiful photos of an even more beautiful bride and get a giggle out of the minor hiccup.
